So according to the ticker above, Nick and I have been married for 3 months now. And it seems that even before we were married we've had bad luck. We are still optimistic and happy! We are now just of the opinion that the only way is up at this point. During the engagement besides the normal wedding and family issues, Nick's car continually broke down and left us with barely any money for anything else. We have debts we need to pay off and its not like they will be nice since we are getting married in all. After the wedding we had to cut the honeymoon short because of financial issues. We got a flat tire on the way to Las Vegas for the Honeymoon as well. January was a bit of a blur trying to get caught up from the wedding, honeymoon, holidays and missing work. February Nick told me he had planned a romantic night at the beginning of march. We were suppose to go see Joshua Radin in Salt Lake and then spend the night at the Anniversary Inn and go to the Salt Lake Temple the next day. We had saved the money and had it packed away in Nick's sock Drawer. The Thursday before the concert the FTC comes and seizes our Company. They took our money, held our pay and took our jobs. So we cancelled the hotel, still went to the concert and spent the money we saved on groceries. Nick found a job a week later and at the end of that week Nick was told he had to get his tonsils taken out.

He got his tonsils taken out that Monday. He was going to be out of work for about 2 weeks, after only have started his job the week before. Nick's tonsil are incredible huge naturally and he had an infection which only made them bigger! He seemed to be recovering nicely until Monday when he started to feel nauseous. Tuesday afternoon he started to bleed some, but we were able to get it stopped but went to the Dr's to make sure it was ok. We came home and Nick took a nap. He woke up at 8:30 pm and started to cough up blood. We tried to get it to stopped, but it wouldn't stop. We eventually went to the ER at about 9:40 and got checked in. Nick was swallowing the blood and the Dr's didn't seem to think it was urgent until Nick threw up 1700 mL of blood. The called Dr. Hamilton who rushed over and took Nick into emergency surgery at midnight. An hour and half later the Dr came out and told him that the artery below Nick's tongue in his throat had ruptured and had been spurting blood. He got it under control, pumped another 300mL's of blood out of Nick's stomach and that Nick was doing fine.

Nick threw up 2 liters of blood tuesday night, thats a coke bottle! He didn't even have to have a blood transfusion! Oh I forgot, Shadow had to have one of her canine teeth pulled as well. I had to have a cavity filled and I now have a mouth guard. There is a root canal in my future, but we will ignore that for as long as possible. We are grateful everyday that we are happy. That there are no problems or arguments between us. Nick and I haven't even had one serious fight! So here we are, waiting for us to catch a break. We know it will happen eventually and count every blessing we can, even if its that we saved 3 cents! Hopefully next post will be about the break we received.
